When I am not behind the chair, or working on my business, I love to be outside. Im an earth sign and have always had a strong connection with nature. My boyfriend and I currently reside in New Hampshire and I love that the white mountains are just a stones throw away. I have two boxer dogs, who keep me on my toes and when they’re just chillin’ you will find me in the gym. One of my ongoing goals for my future is to travel to as many new places as possible.
If you’re ready for a new look, love a low maintenance blonde, or feel that I am the stylist for you, please click the ‘New Guest’ button below. This will bring you to a new guest form where I’ll gather some information about you.
I look forward to meeting you!
I've been in the hair game going on 12 years, but it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I discovered my true art & passion for it.
I grew up in a small town in Southern New Hampshire and loved being close to both the outdoors and the city. My dream was to become that big city hairstylist without actually having to make the commute. In 2007, I started my journey into this wonderful beauty industry, and have been working in the field ever since.
I was always the very shy kid in class. Drawing & painting were my thing, and being social was definitely not. I remember starting hair school with so much excitement because it was such a creative field, but also being so nervous because my art was being done on a person! Becoming a hair artist has now shaped me into a more outgoing individual and I love the relationships & connections I am able to create with my guests.
In 2015, I set out on my own and opened Candela Hair Studio. From there, I decided to get back to my roots and focus on painting. Creating lived in, low maintenance hair was what I had fallen in love with. I wanted to create a space where I could focus on doing the hair that I loved and a space that was warm and inviting where clients could relax and feel welcomed. I worked alone for a year before adding team members and more recently have found a profound passion for teaching and helping new artists grow.
